Designed in 1958 by Pierre Guariche, a designer who was mindful of the needs of his contemporaries, the Mandarin Club chair, produced by Steiner, was the perfect fit in cramped Reconstruction apartments, thanks to its compact shape.
The result of a reduced living area, the furniture had little bulk so as to be multifunctional and also to fit into the smallest areas such as the living room where the family spent most time.
