Payment by bank card

Payments by bank card are in full upon placement of order and in British Pound Sterling only.

Payments by bank card are protected by the Merc@net solution from BNP Paribas, in compliance with French and International inter-bank regulations.
This solution enables the buyer to make payments in total security.

When paying for your order on-line, you are automatically transferred to the bank's server through a secure SSL-mode transaction (session encrypted using a 128-bit key in compliance with the French Government authorization). The number of the card is thus encrypted between the browser and the Merc@net Payment server.

Information about your Bank Card is recorded only in the databases of BNP Paribas and not in those of Maisons du Monde. In no way whatsoever do we receive, record or keep any of your bank details.

After confirmation of your payment by BNP Paribas, you are automatically transferred back to our site. The personal data recorded in the cookie is then deleted.

Orders are only acknowledged after payment has been confirmed. No discount or late payment penalties are applicable.

Payments by bank cheque, "only for items invoiced in France"

Payments by bank cheque must be made in full when the order is placed, in British Pound Sterling.

On the order summary page, when you choose your payment method, select "validate my order, payment by bank cheque".

Write the order reference number we give you on the back of your cheque. In correct the fields, fill in your name, the name of the bank and the 7 digit cheque number located on your cheque.

The cheque must be drawn on bank domiciled in Metropolitan France and made out to Maisons du Monde.

How does it work?

Aurore Card payment terms

You can pay for your purchases with your Aurore card. Select this method of payment and follow the instructions!

You have a Maisons du Monde Aurore card:
You have several payment options to choose from:
• Payment in 3, 5, 10 or 20 monthly instalments
• Payment from your line of credit

You have an Aurore Card that was not opened at one of our points of sale, you can pay in 3 monthly instalments or from your line of credit.

Standard credit

1- Select the duration you want, 5, 10, 20 or 30 months
2- You fill out a credit application online
3- We give you an immediate pre-approval response

You have 2 options:

Your purchase is less than £1,500.00 and the items will be shipped in less than 30 days:

In addition to the information provided, we pre-authorized the amount on your bank card to process your order immediately.
This way, your items can be shipped at once, and your bank card acts as a guarantee if you decide not to submit your credit application.
We give you a pre-approval response immediately and your order is confirmed (without waiting for approval of your credit application).
If you don't send back your completed application file within 2 weeks, or if your application is not approved, your order will be paid for by debiting your bank card in two monthly instalments, with fees (fees to be specified).

Procedure:
1- I fill out my credit application
2- I provide my bank card number and fill out my bank card pre-authorization
3- I receive my pre-approved credit offer by post
4- I sign and return my pre-approved credit offer along with any required documents within 2 weeks.
5- My order is paid by debiting my bank card according to the credit conditions above, after the expiration of the cooling off period of X days.

Your purchase is more than £1,500.00 and/or the items will be shipped in more than 30 days:

We give you an immediate response (pre-approval, examination or rejection) but your order will not be confirmed until we receive your pre-approved credit offer and examine the file and your supporting documents.
If you do not return the completed file within 30 days, or if your application is rejected, your order will be cancelled.
The delivery date will be extended to account for the time you take to return your application, so it is in your best interest to send it back at once.

4- I sign and return my pre-approved credit offer along with any supporting documents within 30 days.
4- My order is paid by debiting my bank card according to the credit conditions chosen, after the expiration of the cooling off periods.

Payments by bank transfer

Payments by bank transfer must be made in full when the order is placed.

On the Order Summary page, select “Bank Transfer” for your payment method.
Enter the first 16 characters of your IBAN code as directed and validate.

IMPORTANT: If you pay by bank transfer, the delivery date will be extended to account for the time required to receive and process your payment.

Payments by PayPal

PayPal is a secure payment method which allows you to pay for your articles quickly without having to share your bank details with retail websites. You just have to provide your details when you create your PayPal account. They are then encrypted and secured for good.If you already have a PayPal account, you can use it on our website to pay for your purchases quickly and completely securely. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still opt for this payment method. When the time comes to pay, you will be redirected to a PayPal page where you can enter your bank details (and choose whether to create a PayPal account or not).
