Lisa from @_lisa_dawson_

Lisa lives with her family in Yorkshire, and is forever revamping her Georgian home. She felt it was about time to show her master bedroom some love, after years of odds and ends building up. Top of the priority list was ensuring both sides of the bed had legitimate bedside tables; enter the PORTOBELLO solid oak ones.

these look sleek and retro, plus they have a drawer which means [my husband] has somewhere to put his countless chargers…

Lisa Dawson

Lisa made sure the bedroom was full of functionality, from the bedside tables to a little seating area. The SACHA velvet bench hits the soft spot, and adds an extra texture to the eclectic space.

A wall gallery is a great way to fill an awkward blank space! Next to large windows, this creative feature ensures a bed with a view.

Melanie from @melanielissackinteriors

Melanie is a devoted DIYer living in East London with her husband and son. The key objective of her living room revamp was to create a grown-up space with a boutique hotel feel. The eye-catching SAO PAULO armchair helps achieve this goal, and forms the perfect calm nook for any stressed out adults.

I love the shape of this cocktail chair, while the colour draws your eye as soon as you enter the room.

What’s a nook without some light? The gold and marble KURT lamp adds even more luxe to the elegant living room, and compliments the golden hints that thread throughout Melanie’s home.

Melanie wanted storage and lots of it. The DIY bookcase along one wall holds everything, providing a stellar example of a shelfie and showcasing classic treasures in cabinet of curiosities.

Kerry from @kerrylockwood_

Kerry lives in Northumberland with her husband and children. After transforming her daughter’s room last season, her soon-to-be teenage son didn’t want to be left out. For a teenage boy’s bedroom, it’s all about creating a space that will grow with them. Our FERGUS double bed is one key piece of furniture that a teenager isn’t going to grow out of.

[My son] fell in love with the Fergus double bed straight away, it was the super chunky cushioned headboard that sold it to him and who can blame him! It was also a bonus that it was grey!

Kerry Lockwood

The combination of a reclaimed wood, muted metallics and grey textures gives the room a lofty, industrial style, while splashes of yellow inject a bit of colour and fun to ensure this bedroom doesn’t look moody!

Kerry’s attention to function provides her son with different spaces within the bedroom. Zoning out areas into sleep, work and play shows a teenager how to really live in their room. In Kerry’s revamp, a rug and MAX chaise longue form a perfect TV spot – and limits the game controllers found in the bed.

Olivia from @lustliving

Olivia is making a home in Derbyshire with her fiancé and two little dogs. Forever switching up her rooms, she is a pink convert and loves combining the colour with gold. The STELLA gold sideboard is a dreamy addition to the living room, where Olivia spends most of her time especially with guests. For that reason, making this gold statement into a drinks cabinet was a no-brainer.

…as soon as I saw this brass fronted cabinet from Maisons du Monde, I knew I had to have it – it’s got serious art deco vibes too which I just love…

Olivia Silk

Pink and gold are an interiors match made in heaven, but what could make it better? Marble has been added to the mix to increase the sophisticated appeal.

Olivia has not cut any corners with the layout of the living room by ensuring that the room is filled with lots of light. Adding a floor length window mirror to the wall instantly brightens up a room, leaving no part of the space in the dark.

Jade from @numberfiveinteriors

Jade lives in Gloucestershire with her husband. They’ve been working on their beloved house at Number Five for a few years, renovating it with a Do-It-Yourself attitude. They took their small lounge from dark and oppressive, to bright and lively; with the help of the BERBER woven rug as the main wow factor in the room.

I really wanted a statement rug in the room, I thought about a traditional berber rug but then opted for something a little more on the statement side with texture, pattern and colour.

Jade Wilce

Creating such an airy atmosphere in a room that doesn’t get much natural sunlight is quite a feat! Jade accomplished this with a bit of clever trickery, sourcing out some of the best faux plants to give the impression of lots of light!

Alcove cupboards quickly become a favourite in many homes, since built-in storage is always a bonus! Jade’s provides her with a space to curate over and over again; switching things up with each season means the room will always look fresh!
