How long will your personal data be retained?
Your personal data is retained for the length of time strictly necessary for the purposes described in Article 4.
At the end of the lengths of time listed below, your personal data will be either deleted or anonymised.
As an exception, in the event of pre-litigation or litigation, all or some of your personal data may be stored for longer periods if they prove useful for such pre-litigation or litigation.
For information purposes only, more details on the legal retention periods are provided below :
1) Purposes - Managing orders on the Site or in-store.
Retention period - Data collected for managing orders and contracts are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with MAISONS DU MONDE.
The data will then be temporarily stored for five (5) years to act as proof.
2) Purposes - Managing requests for information.

Then, the User's data is stored for five (5) years to act as proof, in accordance with the provisions in force (the French Insurance Code, French Mutual Insurance Code, French Commercial Code, French Civil Code, French Consumer Code, French Internal Security Code etc.).

Retention period - Data collected for processing related to customising MAISONS DU MONDE's services are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship with MAISONS DU MONDE and then for three (3) years.
The data will then be temporarily stored for five (5) years to act as proof.
5) Purposes - Managing claims, outstanding payments, pre-litigation and litigation.
Retention period - 48 hours from when the outstanding payment is settled; Three (3) years from the occurrence of the overdue payment in the event that it is not settled.
