Maintenance advice: To preserve its appearance and solidity, clean every day, just with a barely damp cloth, with no abrasive product. If you leave a mark, mop up the liquid immediately by dabbing with kitchen paper. Then, clean with a cloth moistened with tepid water and leave to dry (never use products containing bleach, chemical products, lemon juice or other acidic products). Avoid splashes of acidic foodstuffs such as lemon juice, vinegar, tomatoes, etc. which may leave marks. Never place hot frying pans or saucepans directly onto the zinc as this may affect the varnished finish, and never cut directly onto the worktop. Always use a chopping board.
